The Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) has worked for the past 25 years with news, entertainment and social media to bring culture-changing stories of LGBT people into millions of homes and workplaces every day. Why? Because words and images matter. What people see in the media has a huge impact and GLAAD ensures images of LGBT people and allies grow acceptance, understanding and build support for equality.
We wanted to create something for this event that embodies both GLAAD and PrideID. This dog tag is 2 sided. In staying true to the focus of GLAAD’s mission statement of empowerment and acceptance, one side reads: Stand for One, Stand for All. We truly believe that in the moment that either ourselves or someone else stands up and speaks out for a friend, neighbor or loved one, that they really stand up for all of us. The second side is the PrideID logo, which is first being shown to the public on this item.
This dogtag includes a 24" ball link chain, which can be cut to length.
